Lichen and Moss Portal Pendant Crocheted Necklace

I never have to look far to find inspiration for my work. Sometimes I do travel and the sights and feelings manifest in what I make, but very often the colors and textures I use come from right outside my window, or even from a bookshelf in my studio. This piece is displayed within the pages of a beloved old book, full of poems and watercolor paintings, and the colors for the necklace were selected from moss and lichen growing in my yard.

About 18” long with button and loop toggle closure. Each pendant is one of a kind.
